As his name implies, this colt is quite the lover!  And he worked his way into my boyfriend's heart overcoming some very formidable prior opinions about Appaloosas.  Romeo is just an easy horse to get along with - he is very willing and calm and will try just about anything you ask him to.  If a human is doing something or going somewhere, he will go too.  He knows his name and is very easy to handle without halter or any restraint.  

Romeo was a good son too!  He took care of his Mother who was blind due to an injury.  If she got  lost or needed something she actually called to him and he went to her and guided her where she needed to be.  After his weaning we put them back together and he took to caring for her again.  Its was really neat to watch and cemented the growing feeling that Romeo needed to stay in the family.  

Romeo is going to be Jimmy's riding horse, pack horse, hunting companion, and all around best friend.  He plans to show him now in halter and later in performance classes.  We feel Romeo has the personality and gentle nature to excel in these roles while remaining a stallion.
