American Rabbits

We have been fortunate to start a breeding colony of American rabbits - one of the rarest of all rabbit breeds and listed as critical on the American Livestock Breeds Conservation priority list.

Our breeding goals include:

	Meat production qualities. Large litters with good growth characteristics while maintaining health and viability. Our goal is to meet to the original breed characteristic of achieving a 5 lb rabbit at 10 weeks of age.
	Breed conformation. A mandolin body style with good meat distribution.
	Color. Deep solid blue or white with the ability to breed white to blue or blue to blue and only get blue or white kits.
